I created two simple Flash files that when played from within Adobe Captivate 4 will mute/unmute all sounds.
Just insert them on your timeline as a regular animation and then it will mute / unmute your sounds.

Well, thanks. I’ll test it out.
Sorry but I accidently deleted a comment to this post because it was registered as spam. I only saw the content for 0.5 sec but it said something about if it wouldn’t be easier to use the CP4 system variables to do this.
Well yes and no. If you are just looking at a simple mute/unmute then yes it would be easier. However, it would require some “action” in order to set the variable. That could be a button click, or some advanced action that trigges the mute.
With these files you can mute / unmute a slide as many times as you want simply by inserting the animations at the appropriate times in the timeline.
